Jesus Was NOT Divine

Contrary to what virtually all Christians believe, Jesus was not divine. His own words prove it. He doesn't even claim to be divine in the synoptics. Only in the John gospel do we find a divine Jesus, but the author of John proves himself to be a fraud, totally discrediting himself and his gospel.

Is it not ironic that Christianity is founded the violation of the first Commandment?

Are you referring to the trinity?

“Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” The claim that Jesus is divine clearly violates the commandment. The assertion of the Trinity is a clear post hoc theological word game designed to obscure this – the idea that Jesus is Yahweh’s son is completely incompatible with the notion that Jesus is Yahweh. Moreover, the teachings of Jesus, as reported in the Gospels, are equally obviously incompatible with the commands of Yahweh, as reported in the Old Testament. Jesus and Yahweh are clear different characters.

Thanks. Not to mention the fact that in the OT, wherever we see the word “God”, it is deliberately mistranslated to obscure the fact that there were many gods, and many names for them. Jews were not the monotheists they claim to be. Not at that time at least.
